Late Sunday Underachieving

A quick note to say that after this evening I completely understand how people from last year ended up starting over on day 14 or so.

I started with three ideas - broad ideas at first, of course. A few days into the challenge, I scrapped one idea all together. Now we are in the last few minutes of Day 9 and I have a *new* idea as well as two old ones. I’m not implementing anything about the new idea until I feel out my other ideas first. Blogging about my topics are great because I can see how much searching is out there for my topic. It really is about the numbers.

I’ve been online for a few hours now and oddly enough, I’m not tired. I do have the kids to take care of tomorrow (as I do everday - LOL) so I know I need sleep. But I am excited about my thoughts so I need to get them on paper first.

Catching up this weekend

Ed and Frank (or FrEd as I’ve seen it posted over at the forum) have given us the weekend off. Well, technically not off as in hang out, go to the beach or veg on our couch. Off as in no new instructional videos or podcasts for the weekend.

Which of course is a great time to play catch up to the past seven days. So far today I have blogged on two of my blogs and set up aweber. I wrote down a very basic list of what we were to do on each day and am going back to doing what I missed. I still need to write some messages, and a few other tasks. But I do have the rest of today and tomorrow to get to where I need to be.

I am feeling great about this challenge. I have a lot of ideas of new markets - though I’m not branching out, I’m writing them down for a later date. I am enjoying finding information about my niches, and already decided that one of them was just a bad idea and deleted it all together. Should I have deleted already? Well this was on Day Six, which was Gut Check Day - and my gut was saying delete!

It’s dinner time here so I’m off to feed my kids and then I’m coming back because I WILL earn my dollar, I will complete the process and I will be in San Diego come September.

An Undies Update

The days are going by so fast! And so much information is taught each day, it’s great.

Thirty Day Challenge ~ I am a day behind, more like half a day if you chunk it down to hours, but still determined to make that dollar. I have two niches picked and just ran with them - I know it’s about learning the process. I set up two blogs and got those started and the part I am playing catch up on is yesterday’s information.

I had a bit of a block either yesterday or the day before - I was over researching, over anaylzing. After stepping away from the computer for awhile, I came back and just picked two that I am interested in. (I had a huge list of ideas after the first day - I like Ed’s idea of just crossing off everything you are not personally interested in, that certinaly takes care of a bit of them.) I feel the “need” to pick two more - but really I am going to run with these two, see how the market feels and if I have to start over, so be it.

Am I determined to make a dollar? Yes. I am willing to catch up, to move forward and to get it done. I know that the process goes smoothly once you pick what you will work with. The research is the hardest part of it all. I wonder if I will still say that at the end of the month.
