For the past few months I’ve been involved with Verbal Networking. It is so much fun! I love being able to talk to people about business ideas - vs typing on email or in a chat room. I’ve missed at least the past month or so of scheduled get togethers due to just not being on the computer during the times. But with the easy to read calendar over at the website, adding a time that works for you into your own calendar takes moments. I’ve loaded all of the meeting times into my Google Calendar so I won’t miss a thing!

So my Letter from Santa business was rockin’ this year. I increased the letters sent by about 85% from last year. Of course, last year we moved and left in early December - that means a good couple of weeks of not having that business available to me. That’s huge considering what the letters are for!
My goal next year is to increase by 35%. I know, not as high of a percentage but that is okay. I have a few ideas of how to get that. I need to get a new system in place for handling the emails and I’m glad I didn’t try to redo it before or during this season. The site is already automated but it needs to be tweaked here and there. I’m going to hold off for a few months and then work on it as I have other projects that need to get off the ground!
